So I chose to do this project on my own. At first I was sure I would recreate a pac-man flash game. Which as you can tell from my game above, that it didn't go as planned. I searched for quite some time for a tutorial on pac-man. So when I did find a pretty cool pac-man game, I was pretty excited. Until I checked the code. After calling over Chris Mutter, he told me that the problem with that game was that the code was too old, therefor I wouldn't be able to modify it. So I was forced to admit defeat (something I hate doing). Thinking that I didn't have enough time to find an entirely new tutorial, I just went onto Chris's DP and downloaded the snake flash game. It worked well but I did have a few problems with the size of the game, which was ridiculously small. But Chris Mutter explained on how to be able to deal with that (there was some math involved). The feedback I received was that it was a bit too fast. So of course I had to change that as well. But I didn't have to change the code for that, I just had to change the frame rate.
Above this, you can see a small chunk of the code that I modified. Which was to change the size of the game. Before the block size was 8 but by increasing the number to 50 the size of the pixels increased giving me the opportunity to increase the size of the game as well. There was some math involved as well, but that would take too long to explain, so let's just admire the final result.
