For this class we were much more focused on writing in general. When we weren't too busy with our creative writing pieces, we would do current events. Which consisted of a lesson and a packet for us to study. I'm quite sure that we had to take a test every Friday for about 1-2 months (kind of difficult to complete if you have a terrible time memorizing things). We also had various socratic seminars (which I personally enjoy) I might leave some of the writing pieces I worked on down below.
As for projects in this class...well there was this one project which we never fully completed. It was to write a personal writing piece (or so I think) and create an image using the words. I think I will leave a link or something to what I wrote, and as for the image I was creating was of two hands doing the pinky promise thing. Why? Well my writing piece revolved around a promise I made last summer. Another project I recall working on was Food for Thought. We watched various documentaries on GMO's and the benefits of eating organic food. The intended outcome of this project was for us to create our own sustainable garden. Which meant we were to create a compost bin, an aquaponic (basically using the water that fishes are in to nourish the plants in an automatic manner), and a few succulent plants. However, due to such little time, the only 'product' that was successful was the compost bin. The aquaponic sort of leaked and we did not acquire the proper fishes.
