We first started off this project by being designated to our own group. Within that group we decided who was going to be doing what. I was the story boarder, Liam was the writer, and Ayanna was the big idea expert. I had to draw out the scenes and add detail so we could have an idea of how it was going to look like if it were to be onstage. Although my job was to mostly draw, I also had to edit a lot of writing, like the script. Once we were all done, we were going to present all of the work on a black board. On the board we had to have the first two scenes with the prologue drawn out, a description about the play we created, a description about the characters, and we also had to include three scripts to go alongside with it. It was quite a difficult task to get all of them on the board considering we had limited space. We tried making it look decent (without it looking crowded) because, everyone in the class was to look at each board and script before voting on the one we wanted to work on.
The play that I worked on with my group was about Man, named Dan, who was recently let out of jail. The reason he went to jail i the first place was because of his drinking problem. To make it up to his family (to make up the time he spent behind bars), and to improve his life, he decides to put an end to his drinking problem. After a year of progress, Dan begins to have many obstacles in his life. He loses his job, and gets discriminated for being a past prisoner. Due to all of the stress, Dan falls back to his old ways. Once again, Dan gets arrested, but this time his wife happens to get there at the exact same moment he's being taken away.
